School Supply List

✏️ School Supply Lists

Getting ready for a successful school year starts with having the right supplies! While much of our learning takes place online, students will still need some essential materials to stay organized, participate in class activities, and complete assignments successfully.

Please review the school supply list for your grade band before the first day of school. Having supplies ready helps students start the year confidently and stay focused on learning.

🎒 Helpful Tips

  • Keep supplies in a dedicated learning space.

🎒 Student Preparedness & Supply Responsibility

Parents are responsible for ensuring that students have the required school supplies, that materials are replenished as needed throughout the year, and that students come to class prepared for daily learning activities.

Because students learn from home, it is important to regularly check supplies and replace items such as pencils, paper, notebooks, art materials, and other frequently used items before they run out.

Occasionally, a student may not have the materials needed for a particular lesson or activity. When this happens, students should:

  • 👀 Continue to observe the lesson and participate to the best of their ability.
  • 📝 Take notes and follow the teacher’s instructions.
  • ✅ Complete the assignment or activity as soon as the required materials become available.
  • 💬 Communicate with their teacher if additional time is needed due to missing materials.

Being prepared each day helps students fully participate in learning activities and achieve success in the classroom.

🛠️ Additional Supplies Throughout the Year

Throughout the school year, students may be asked to gather additional materials for projects, experiments, presentations, and hands-on learning activities.

These items may include, but are not limited to:

  • 🛒 Grocery items for cooking, science, or math activities
  • 📦 Cardboard boxes, paper towel tubes, and other recyclable materials
  • 🍴 Kitchen tools and utensils
  • 📏 Household measuring tools
  • ♻️ Recyclable materials for projects and STEM challenges
  • 🌿 Outdoor items such as leaves, twigs, grasses, rocks, snow, or other natural materials
  • 🗂️ Flash cards for practicing skills and studying

Teachers will make every effort to communicate these needs well in advance so families have time to gather materials and help students prepare for upcoming activities. Most requested items are inexpensive, easy to find, or commonly available at home.
