Ways to Contact Teachers
📞 How Do Students and Parents Contact Teachers?
At Inspire Academy, we want students and families to feel supported and connected. There are several ways to communicate with teachers when questions arise or assistance is needed.
📱 Phone Calls and Text Messages
Once enrolled, parents will receive their teacher’s direct phone number. This provides a convenient way to communicate by text message and, when necessary, phone calls.
We ask that student phone calls and texts be reserved primarily for situations in which a student’s computer, internet connection, or other technology is not working and immediate assistance is needed.
Parents are always welcome to reach out by phone or text; however, please remember that teachers spend much of the school day actively teaching and may not be able to respond immediately. Teachers will respond as soon as they are available.
💬 Microsoft Teams Chat
For most questions, the fastest way to reach a teacher is through Microsoft Teams Chat.
Students can use:
- 💬 Class Meeting Chat for questions that can be shared with the class
- 🔒 Private Chat for questions that students would prefer to ask directly to the teacher
- Teachers are often available to respond to Teams messages during:
- Live class sessions
- Independent work time
- Work sessions
- Some Independent Work Days
- Office hours
- Occasionally, teachers may even be able to answer quick questions outside of regular school hours.
- Whenever a question comes up, students are encouraged to reach out through Teams Chat or email rather than waiting. We want students to get the help they need as quickly as possible.
- 📧 Email Your Teacher: Students and parents may email teachers using any email account. Teachers will respond as soon as possible during normal working hours.

📚 Canvas Messaging
Canvas also includes an internal messaging system that some students use to communicate with teachers. Because communication preferences and classroom procedures may vary, students should check with their teacher to learn how Canvas messaging is used within their class.
✅ We Are Here to Help
Questions are a normal part of learning! Whether through Teams Chat, email, phone, or Canvas, we encourage students and families to communicate whenever assistance is needed. Our teachers are committed to helping every student succeed and will respond in as timely a manner as possible.
