❓ What Happens If a Student Misses Class?

If a student misses a live class session, they can usually catch up by accessing the class recording and completing any missed assignments.

When technology functions properly, all live classes are recorded through Microsoft Teams. Students can:

• Access the recorded class session
• Watch the lesson at their convenience
• Review teacher instructions and demonstrations
• Complete assignments that were introduced during class

📚 Complete Missed Assignments

Many assignments include written directions and resources within Canvas. Students can often complete missed work by:

• Opening the assignment in Canvas
• Reading the instructions carefully
• Watching the class recording if needed
• Completing and submitting the assignment by the required deadline

📝 Report Absences

All student absences should be reported by a parent or guardian using the school’s Absent/Tardy Form.
